How to buy a gun online
If you know your FFL’s information
- If you already know the local FFL (federal firearms license) you would like to use, input their company name and address in the ship to fields during checkout.
- After you checkout, contact your local dealer and ask them to email us with a copy of their FFL. Be sure to include your name and order number along with the license. Failing to provide order information may delay shipment.
- You will receive an automated email once we receive your local dealers license and can process your order.
- Once your order leaves our shop you will receive a second email with a UPS tracking number.
If you do not know which FFL you want to use
- If you’re unsure which FFL you want to use, uncheck the box that says “Ship to a Different Address” during checkout and enter a comment in the “Order notes” section stating you are still looking for a local dealer to perform the transfer.
- After you checkout, locate a local dealer to perform the transfer and ask them to email contact@angstadtarms.com with a copy of their FFL. Be sure to include your name and order number along with the license. Failing to provide order information may delay shipment.

Federal law requires that all firearms (pistols, rifles and stripped lower receivers) be shipped to a local FFL (federal firearms license) where the appropriate paperwork and background checks can be conducted.
